One of the challenges with electric cars has already been partially resolved: low resale value. In the used market, it’s the first owner who takes the loss. Buyers today can pay a much lower price.
However, two issues remain. The first is battery charging. Apartment residents may face difficulties installing chargers. The second is the limited use of EVs mainly in urban areas. Batteries still cannot support long-distance travel, and don’t forget that in a used EV the battery capacity is already reduced.
