As Australia eagerly anticipates Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, one of the nation’s cherished beverages — the classic Smirnoff Ice — has unveiled a new limited edition drink to celebrate the arrival of the Grammy-winning pop icon.

Indeed, Swift’s influence on pop culture is so immensely significant that one of the leading beverage brands has opted to craft a special drink to excite adult Swifties before her concerts in Sydney and Melbourne.

Smirnoff Ice has announced that it is embracing a “new era” with the introduction of its Smirnoff Ice Lavender Lemonade. Talk about a fresh reputation, wouldn't you agree?

This limited-edition premixed drink will feature the refreshing citrus taste that many Australians adore, but with a subtle hint of lavender, providing a light floral note that harmonizes beautifully with the citrus zing.

Additionally, the drink itself has a “Lavender Haze”.

Just to reiterate: this is an alcoholic beverage — with a 4.5% ABV — so it is intended for adult consumption only!

Maddy Stockwell, Sminoff’s Marketing Manager, mentions that the company is “embracing [its] lavender era” in hopes of “crafting a new taste that ignites enthusiasm”.

“With the colour purple being in the spotlight, we’re embracing our lavender era with the launch of Smirnoff Lavender Lemonade, creating a new taste that ignites enthusiasm,” she explained.

“Smirnoff is deeply connected to music, so when we observed the impressive line-up of musicians and artists heading to Australian stages this year, we knew we had to prepare for it.”

The beverage will be available nationwide — including at Dan Murphy’s and BWS stores — starting February 13, priced at $21.99 for a four-pack.

That being said, please refrain from compelling Taylor Swift to perform a shoey at Accor Stadium.

But if she does, I wonder if it would be with a TN and this Smirnoff Ice Lavender Lemonade drink…
