Uber Boat Is Coming For Your Euro Summer, If You Want To Sip Champers On A Yacht In Ibiza

Aussies venturing to Europe this summer have a delightful surprise awaiting them as Uber rolls out boat services in six popular tourist destinations across the continent. They’re also fortunate simply because they’re in Europe, while we’re not. How does it feel to be God’s favourite?

The new summer services are designed to make it as easy for tourists to navigate around Ibiza, Venice, Athens, Paris, Corfu, and Santorini by water as it is to get around your city by Uber.

“At Uber, we aim to provide our customers with the freedom to travel anywhere, wherever their journey takes them. This summer, we’re introducing a range of bucket-list-worthy nautical experiences to the Uber app in some of Europe’s most sought-after destinations, allowing holidaymakers to fully enjoy their adventures at sea,” expressed Anabel Diaz, Vice President of EMEA Mobility at Uber, regarding the innovative boat options.

“Whether it’s sailing around Ibiza on a private yacht or exploring the Venetian Lagoon by boat, we’re excited to infuse some Uber magic into our customers’ vacations this summer.

Tourists in Mykonos can utilize Uber Boat to explore various sites across the Greek islands, while visitors in Paris can enjoy an Uber Cruise along the river Seine.

Or, for those seeking something more opulent, an Uber Yacht can be ordered in Ibiza.

Starting in August, you can reserve a private yacht for the day to sail around Ibiza, living the life of luxury, at least for a day.

Departing daily at 12pm from Ibiza Town Marina, Uber Yacht offers groups of up to eight the chance to cruise on a Sunseeker Yacht for €200 per person (approx. AU $322).

The package includes a complimentary bottle of champagne, local snacks, transfers to and from the yacht, and a personal skipper to guide your journey.

Uber Yacht will be available from August 3 to August 20, with reservations opening via Uber Reserve on July 26.

Meanwhile, visitors in Venice will *finally* have the opportunity to glide through the canals in a practical way — on an Uber Boat.

Starting at €120 per journey, the boat accommodates up to six passengers and is available from 8am to 8pm daily.

Honestly, these new services are a major boon for individuals like me, who insist on booking only through a convenient app at my fingertips. I like to believe this is the sole reason I haven’t been exploring the Greek Islands aboard a superyacht.

All Uber Yacht, Cruise, and Boat trips are subject to availability and weather conditions.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a Euro trip to plan.
