Sam Pang Tells Celebs To Brace Themselves Ahead Of Spicy 2025 Logies Monologue

Sam Pang has hinted at what we can anticipate from his forthcoming (likely roast-filled) monologue at the 2025 TV Week Logies — and oh boy, get ready!

In case you missed it, the comedian is set to host Aussie TV’s night of nights for the third consecutive year. Ahead of the event — happening this Sunday at The Star — Pang mentioned that those attending should brace themselves for some fiery jabs.

“If someone gives me the stink eye, it’s more about them,” Pang remarked on the Fifi, Fev & Nick radio show this week.

Although Pang didn’t specify who might be giving the stink eye, there’s certainly plenty of material to work with considering the whirlwind year it’s been for Aussie TV — from the cancellations of The Project and Q&A to the notorious axing of Jonathan LaPaglia and the ongoing laughing stock that is Married At First Sight

We love MAFS, but it’s certainly no Australian Story

Regarding the reality series, Pang confirmed that the 2025 cast of MAFS will be attending the Logies, despite earlier rumours that the event had banned potential wine-throwers.

These rumours were further stirred when former cast member Jamie Marinos said she wasn’t attending this year’s Logies, but Pang has since dispelled that speculation.

“I can give you the scoop that there’s been a change of heart this year,” Pang said about the organisers’ MAFS guest lists.

“I’ve told everyone when they see [the MAFS cast], they can quickly say hello – and quickly tell them if you’re having the chicken or the fish!”

While it remains uncertain who exactly from MAFS will show up, we do know the show will be represented by experts John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla.

Regardless of the details, we should expect Pang to include at least a few digs, considering last year’s monologue saw him poke fun at everyone from Karl Stefanovic to Sonia Kruger and Rolf Harris

The event kicks off at 7pm this Sunday (August 3), with Ally Langdon, Hamish Blake, Julia Morris, Lisa Millar, Lynne McGranger, Poh Ling Yeow and Sonia Kruger up for the shiniest award that is the Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality.

Sam, everyone is fair game except for Poh! Australia’s sweetheart mustn’t be touched!
