Recent reports have revealed that the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is preparing for an exciting group trip to Australia — so pardon me while I rush to toss the nearest glass of wine.
Indeed, the stars of the popular Bravo reality series are reportedly on their way here for what will be the franchise’s inaugural cast trip to Down Under, with Herald Sun noting that the ladies are scheduled for a visit somewhere in Victoria.
The publication mentions that the cast — including Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, Bozoma Saint John, and newcomer Rachel Zoe — will be arriving in Victoria later this month, as part of the ongoing filming of the show’s 15th season.
According to Herald Sun, Bravo is currently in discussions with a Victorian tourism body to finalize the cast’s itinerary, but I truly hope they at least experience an AFL game at the MCG and visit Gina Liano during their stay.
These reports are significant as no US version of the Real Housewives — from Potomac to Atlanta to the utter madness that is Salt Lake City — has ever ventured to Australian shores. However, the RHOBH cast has certainly made up for it with other memorable trips over the years.
Throughout the show’s history, the cast has created absolute chaos during group trips to Italy (the location of *that* Denise Richards exposé), Mexico, Dubai, and Amsterdam, the latter of which produced a Lisa Rinna wine-throwing moment that remains infamous in pop culture. Although their exact destination in Victoria remains unknown, as a Housewives enthusiast, I can’t resist suggesting some itinerary highlights for the ladies.
