The DMs of Sydney Sweeney are buzzing, as she's reportedly receiving a flurry of messages from numerous Premier League footballers following her separation from Jonathan Davino.
In case you missed it, the Euphoria actress ended her three-year engagement with the film producer in March. Now, as she navigates singlehood, a variety of soccer stars are apparently vying to become her new prince charming.
According to The Sun, a source claims that Sweeney has been approached for dates by footballers from teams like Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool.

“Her Instagram DMs are overflowing with messages from well-known men trying to reach her,” the insider noted.
Many of these admirers have reportedly “offer[ed] her trips to Europe to meet them and enjoy a date,” yet Sweeney doesn't seem interested in such proposals.
Who would have thought that complimentary trips to Europe could be considered a hassle!
“She’s not the type of person who engages in that,” the source revealed, mentioning that Sweeney “consistently refuses,” even when admirers are “quite persistent and have even attempted to locate her address to send flowers.”
Flowers and European dates are evidently not appealing!

While the source refrained from dropping any names (how intriguing!), they did mention that athletes are just one group trying to win over the actress, also noting “over 100 individuals, from celebrities to millionaires or affluent individuals from the Middle East and Asia.”
Apparently, one of these DM-ers was “an American actor who had recently gone through a divorce” and who “invited her out on a date.”
Could it be David Harbour? Orlando Bloom? We need answers!
This all comes a few months after Sweeney confirmed she had called off her wedding to Davino, with reports suggesting her hectic filming schedule — and let’s say, flirtatious, press tours — contributed to the breakup.
Regardless of the situation, Sweeney seems to be more engrossed with another recent headline-grabbing event, sparked by her controversial American Eagle ad last week.

Amid allegations of eugenist messaging, a less severe critique of the ad is Sweeney’s vocal fry and delivery, which seem to be almost (but not quite) as irksome as the overall backlash.
It appears these supposed DM senders aren’t online enough to be deterred from shooting their shot with a classic, ‘u up?’.
