Indeed, the whispers were true. Mere weeks after speculation was rife about Oasis heading to Australia as part of their eagerly anticipated reunion tour, the band has now officially revealed their Australian dates for the Oasis Live ’25 Tour.
The iconic British band announced they will be venturing to Australia for two performances: one in Melbourne on October 31 and another in Sydney on November 7, 2025.
Registration for the pre-sale is currently open and will close on Wednesday, October 9. You can find more details HERE.
The general public sale will commence on Tuesday, October 15, at 10am AEDT for Melbourne and at 12pm AEDT for Sydney.
Leading up to the announcement, insiders speaking to Rolling Stone Australia confirmed that Oasis would be hosting a two-date series of Australian shows planned for October and November of the upcoming year.
The “Wonderwall” stars will begin their Australian journey with a debut performance at Melbourne's Marvel Stadium on Friday, October 31. According to leaked information, the following show is slated for Sydney’s Accor Stadium a week later on Friday, November 7.
Should there be significant demand for these initial shows (and let’s be honest, there will be), sources suggest that the Gallagher brothers might fill the week-long gap with more Australian tour dates and potentially extend the tour after the Sydney concert.

Following the rapid ticket sales in the UK, it’s reasonable to assume the same could occur for their dedicated Australian fans.
Rolling Stone reports that the band is set to officially unveil the Australian dates for their 2025 reunion tour next week on Monday, October 7, so let us bask in this potential for a short while.
The leak surfaces just a week after rumors were already swirling with excitement over a possible visit, with earlier reports suggesting that Oasis had added Australia, Asia, and the US to their tour schedule, which initially only included dates for Ireland and the UK.

Now, it seems the tour will extend beyond Noel and Liam Gallagher‘s homeland to become a genuine worldwide tour, with performances also scheduled for Mexico, Canada, and North America.
The announcement of the Oasis Live ’25 Tour is particularly thrilling as it will be the first time the brothers perform together live since 2009 (!). In the interim, they have engaged in a widely publicized feud, but they appear to have set aside their differences for these upcoming reunion performances.
The tour began with a rocky start in August for UK and Irish fans, who expressed their discontent when scalpers listed tickets for over AUD $12,000. The duo later assured fans that any “tickets sold in breach of the terms and conditions will be cancelled”.
If the rumors about Oasis’ 2025 Australian tour are accurate, then I should start practicing “Wonderwall” at every karaoke bar I encounter over the next year.
