Olivia Rodrigo experienced quite a fall through her on-stage trapdoor during her Melbourne concert on Monday night.
The Guts artist was energizing the audience between songs at the Rod Laver Arena when she dashed across the stage and accidentally fell into an open trapdoor.
The audience's cheers turned slightly concerned before the “Bad Idea” singer reappeared, assuring everyone she was unharmed.
“Oh my god, that was fun,” she remarked to the crowd.
“I’m okay,” she reassured her concerned fans.
“Sometimes there’s just a hole in the stage, but that’s all right. Okay … where was I? How are you doing tonight Melbourne!”
You can watch the moment below. Thanks to social media magic, various angles are available.
You can really hear the impact from that last one, can’t you?
After the show, fans took to social media to express their concerns for the star.
“Okay but in all seriousness, I just saw another angle of her fall and it looked like it REALLY HURT. I hope she’s okay, we love you Liv!” one fan commented.
“Olivia proving the haters she sings live one fall at a time,” another fan noted.

Despite the seemingly harsh fall, Olivia is resilient and recovered like a true professional. She took to TikTok to share a clip of the incident, humorously captioned “#subtleforeshadowing”.
Cheers to Olivia for shaking it off and continuing with the performance. No one ever said being a pop star was easy!
