Aussie 365 party girls are feeling the frustration after a disorganized attempt to get tickets during the Laneway Festival 2025 pre-sale on Tuesday morning.
Following the stellar line-up announcement last week, thousands of eager fans registered for the event’s online pre-sale, which went live at 10am AEST today on Ticketek. The demand was overwhelming, and attendees found themselves in a queue of tens of thousands before being redirected to the ticket purchasing page. However, once there, they discovered that buying tickets wasn't an option.
With only eight minutes allocated for each purchase, many users were booted from the ticket purchasing page before they could secure their tickets. Naturally, this led to a wave of frustration and complaints on social media.
As one of the many individuals who paused all tasks to try and get tickets, the experience was utterly frustrating. Fortunately, after re-opening the link in the same browser I initially used to access the purchasing page, I managed to hold my spot long enough for the purchase button to become available.
Thankfully, Laneway quickly recognized the issue and shared some advice on Instagram Stories.

When PEDESTRIAN.TV contacted Laneway, the festival organizers assured us that the issue has been fully resolved and that tickets are still available. So, if you’re still hoping to get in on the pre-sale, GO GO GO GO!!!
But if you miss out, don’t worry. The general sale begins at 10am AEST tomorrow, October 16.
We’ve also reached out to Ticketek for further comment to understand what happened.
