If traveling is on your 2024 vision board, you're in luck because Virgin Australia is offering an incredible sale on both domestic and international flights.
On Tuesday, the Australian-based airline revealed that it has slashed prices on more than 500,000 seats to popular destinations.
According to news.com.au, domestic flight prices have dropped to as low as $45, while international travel options include seats for only $425.
"2024 is just around the corner, and now is the perfect opportunity to plan ahead and snag a bargain airfare with over half a million seats now available starting at just $45 one-way," Virgin Australia's chief commercial officer Dave Emerson stated, as per the publication.
Popular routes such as the Sunshine Coast from Sydney have dropped to $69 for a one-way ticket. Another fantastic deal is the one-way flight from Sydney to Launceston, with seats beginning at $59. The cheapest ticket is a one-way trip from Sydney to Ballina Byron for just $45.
According to news.com.au, those dreaming of a tropical getaway to Hamilton Island are in luck, as some seats start at $125 if flying from Sydney, while a trip from Sydney to Cairns could cost just $129.
"Australians are eager to stretch their dollars further in the current climate, and this sale offers them hundreds of thousands of great-value opportunities to travel to their favorite holiday spots next year," Emerson added.
"With every single Virgin Australia route now on sale, popular destinations can be booked for less than the cost of a taxi ride, so we're encouraging travelers to act quickly as these amazing fares won't last long."
If you're feeling like turning into Pitbull and going Mr. Worldwide, flights to international hotspots like Bali, New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa, and Japan have also seen price reductions.
Travelers from Melbourne looking for a trip to Queenstown can find seats from $425 return. If you're based in Sydney, you can also explore the New Zealand destination for $445.
Other super affordable flights include trips from Brisbane to Fiji and Vanuatu, with fares starting at $509 and $569, respectively, and flights from Cairns to Tokyo (Haneda Airport) starting at $699.
The massive sale is already underway and will conclude next Monday, October 23, at midnight. It's also important to note that sale seats are for flights between January 16 and August 29, 2024.
