Friends, it's that time of year when we're reminded that tennis truly is a beloved sport. Despite being one of the few sports played almost year-round, the Australian Open highlights just how exciting it is to watch our athletes chase that fuzzy yellow ball.
Personally, I'm more intrigued by what's happening courtside. What are the WAGs or TWAGs (Tennis WAGs) wearing? How much of their fashion choices can I actually afford to buy? And, not to shift focus to the men, but can their partners please stay in longer so the ladies can continue to shine?
Now, I’m not labeling them as “such and such's girlfriend” or merely TWAGs; they are all accomplished (and fashionable) in their own right and just happen to be dating or engaged to tennis players, in my opinion. Sure, who they date may have enhanced their profiles in some instances, but these women are out there making bank from their courtside (or on-court) lifestyles, and we're all for it.
You’ve got women like Paige Lorenzo, who owns two highly successful businesses and also happens to date American Pro Tommy Paul. Then there’s Sophia Thomalla, a successful actress and TV host dating world number two, Alexander Zverev.

Of course, a few of the TWAGs are also prominent influencers, including Morgan Riddle, girlfriend of American tennis pro Taylor Fritz, Costeen Hatzi, long-term girlfriend of Australia’s own Nick Kyrgios, and Ivana Nedved, Sebastian Korda’s girlfriend.
Some of them are actually serving both on and off the court as tennis pros themselves. Indeed, a few players have found partners who could be their mixed doubles partners in real life, including former tennis player (now influencer) Ayan Broomfield (dating Frances Tiafoe), Anna Kalinskaya (Jannik Sinner’s girlfriend) and Katie Boulter (Alex De Minaur’s fiancée).
The best part about these ladies is that they're for the girls. There's no gatekeeping. They typically wear affordable outfits and style them with more expensive pieces like designer handbags, shoes, and sunglasses. So, if you want to emulate their look, it's actually quite achievable without breaking the bank.

Paige Lorenzo

If you’ve been following Paige since her original Dairy Boy days, you know she’s always been incredibly stylish. Since joining the tennis circuit alongside her boyfriend, her looks have become staples on our Pinterest boards. She often wears a mix of affordable and designer brands like With Harper Lu, Mirror Palais, Matthew Bruch, Nike, and Self Portrait.

Ayan Broomfield
If the brief is chic, playful, and edgy, Ayan’s courtside looks win every set. She’s been spotted in Aussie brand Scanlan Theodore — twice. We love it when international influencers wear and support Aussie brands. Ayan has an impeccable sense of style, so we’d recommend following her to see all her looks from the AO and more.

Anna Kalinskaya

Now, you probably won’t catch Anna’s courtside looks because she’s too busy making waves on the actual court. Yes, that's right — she’s a tennis pro herself and technically a ‘TWAG’.
It seems she's had to withdraw from the Australian Open but will be at the Singapore Tennis Open later in January.
When she's not playing tennis or training, she’s showcasing her iconic style to her 414k followers on Instagram. She's definitely worth a follow if you haven’t already.

Katie Boulter
Katie claims to be “Traveling the world to hit a fuzzy yellow thing,” but the tennis star is doing more than just that both on and off the court. She’s offering her 287k Instagram followers a glimpse into everything from her training sessions to her personal style.
She’s currently making waves on the court after advancing to the second round of the AO.

Ivana Nedved

Ivana is fortunate enough to travel the world alongside her pro tennis player partner. Her iconic Instagram bio humorously states, “I travel a lot and wear cute outfits”. Yes, indeed, she does. While Ivana has yet to share her outfits on the IG grid, her stories reveal she's also been sporting Aussie fashion brands while Down Under, including Melbourne’s own Henne.

Sophia Thomalla
Sophia’s style is incredible since she's always in the public eye for both work and on Instagram (she has 1.4 million followers!). So far, she’s yet to share any of her match-day outfits on IG, only sneak peeks into her laid-back wardrobe as she travels around Australia (including some adorable Quokka pics).
Given she's dating world number two, Alexander Zverev, we’re guessing if we hit that follow button, we’re going to see some match-day looks in the coming days and weeks.
